It’s the moment you have all been waiting for! Trading for the BMN1 token is now fully live and active on the Bitfinex Securities Exchange. Congratulations to Blockstream for bringing such an innovative product to the market and we here at STOKR are so excited to be part of bringing this piece of blockchain history to our users.
What does this mean exactly? Investors can now trade on a securities trading venue among the biggest digital asset exchanges; Bitfinex. Investors do not need to manage their Green Wallet to hold BMN tokens. Once registered on Bitfinex Securities, qualified investors can trade on this platform.
Investors who purchased BMN in the previous tranches or have acquired BMN through peer-to-peer transactions can deposit their tokens directly on Bitfinex Securities. Soon, investors will be able to withdraw their BMN tokens from Bitfinex Securities and hold them in their whitelisted Green Wallet, registered on STOKR. This particular ability is currently in development.
It looks bare now, but once investors begin trading, it will look like any other normal exchange as the data populates. More trading details can be found here https://capital.bitfinex.com/bmn.
